Jordan is the founder of Land Diver Society, a lifelong gear nerd, outdoorsman, and firm believer that the things we own are a lot more interesting when they’re actually being used.
His background includes years working as a Protective Services Contractor doing P.S.D. and Sensitive site and materials protection along with contracting in other hands-on technical environments where equipment wasn’t something to obsess over—it simply needed to work. That experience shaped an appreciation for reliability, simplicity, durability, and tools that earn their place through use rather than reputation.
That philosophy eventually carried over into watches.
After owning, trading, and experiencing more watches than he probably should have, Jordan became increasingly less interested in collecting what the watch world says you’re supposed to own and more interested in finding the watches that actually fit the person wearing them.
That idea became the foundation for Land Diver Society.
Today, you’ll usually find him somewhere between a lake, a toolbox, a camera, and the kitchen. His interests range from watches and EDC to fishing, hunting, photography, clothing, cooking, and the everyday gear that connects all of them.
Land Diver Society is his attempt to tell those stories without taking any of it too seriously.
Because the watch matters—but the person wearing it is considerably more interesting.
